Microbiota is the community of microorganisms that inhabit our skin.

Not only do probiotics keep the skin clean and protect it from invading pathogenic microbes, but they have been shown to be able to “re-educate the bad bacteria” that settle on our skin from time to time.

Probiotics have a pronounced moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect, which is realized through natural mechanisms.

The skin microbiota provides the hydrolysis of fats to fatty acids and glycerol, which is the main moisture-holding agent of the skin. When the skin microbiota is damaged its enzymatic activity and moisture-holding function are disrupted.

The result is increased water loss and high pH, which leads to the colonization of the skin with pathogenic bacteria and the onset of inflammation. Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN-001 inhibits the development of pathogens and normalizes the enzymatic activity of the microbiota, restoring the normal hydrolysis of fats and the formation of fatty acids (lowering skin pH) and glycerol.

Most manufacturers of probiotic cosmetics use dead bacteria in their products, which are not true probiotics. Preserving live probiotic bacteria in cosmetics is very difficult because in free form they are very vulnerable and die within 2 days after being mixed into a cosmetic product.

The Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN-001 strain was first isolated in New Zealand. To date, Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN-001 is one of the most studied probiotic strains in the world. More than 50 clinical and preclinical studies have been conducted with its use.

The strain is produced by Danisco-Dupont (USA), one of the world leaders in the production of probiotic bacteria, distinguished by the highest production culture and quality control level.

Therefore, before the first use, we recommend performing a skin test by applying a small amount of the product on the inner surface of the elbow.

Mix True ProbioticTM with our BioBase BioBaseTM, foundation suitable for your skin type, or add it to your favorite skin care gel or cream, at a ratio of 1 vial per 30 mL of product.
Apply 1 time in the evening or 2 times in the morning and evening on the face after cleansing.
Use spatula for mixing and later daily removal of servings of cream and gel from the jar. This will allow it to be better preserved during the period of use.
By using BioBubblesTM cosmetic additives in combination with BioBaseTM you get the maximum effectiveness of their active ingredients.

If, after mixing the BioBubblesTM and the base, you store the cream / gel in the refrigerator, then the period of its use will increase by 2 times.

It is not recommended to introduce more than one BioBubblesTM cosmetic additive into 30 mL of base.
